Caff\u00e8 Spettacolo has been supporting the ANEI coffee cooperative, representing several indigenous groups from the north of Colombia, since 2014. Their beans \u2013 organically grown and fair trade \u2013 are used in the roast expressions of Caff\u00e8 Spettacolo. Thanks to this collaboration and regular special offers, the cooperative has a guaranteed income and can finance an urgently needed organic fertiliser plant. This will help them improve their poor soil and increase the money they can earn from growing coffee beans and vegetables.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For many people, the day starts with coffee. Maybe even at Caff\u00e8 Spettacolo. But how many people know where their favourite wake-up brew comes from and how it was grown? Caff\u00e8 Spettacolo’s hot coffee beverages contain a very special bean from northern Colombia, or more specifically, from the Sierra Nevada and Serran\u00eda del Perij\u00e1 regions. Since 1995, several indigenous groups have been growing top-quality coffee beans under the ANEI label in this area. As is totally natural for these indigenous farmers to act in close communion with nature without exploiting its resources, they apply organic farming methods, but organic farms also have a much smaller harvest than conventional plantations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
